In late April\u00a02011\u00a0we decided to do on a weekly basis a realization of a page\u00a0of zwei ausf\u00fchrende<\/em>, by Manfred\u00a0Werder.\u00a0Each member would take the performance\u00a0and also be responsible\u00a0for making\u00a0a record\u00a0and a picture\u00a0of the site or\u00a0the materials for the actualization.<\/p>\n

The work consists of\u00a0four thousand pages\u00a0that\u00a0are played on one succesion (with\u00a0sections), and is part\u00a0of a larger project\u00a0that\u00a0includes works\u00a0for one,\u00a0three, four, five,\u00a0six, seven, eight and\u00a0nine performers\u00a0(which,\u00a0in turn,\u00a0each one consists of\u00a0four thousand pages\u00a0that are played\u00a0on one succession).\u00a0The premise\u00a0of the score\u00a0is simple, a\u00a0number\u00a0designating the performer\u00a0(1 \u00a0 2), provides\u00a0an action:\u00a0six seconds of\u00a0sound (or action)\u00a0followed by six seconds of silence; a\u00a0point (.) signals twelve seconds of\u00a0silence.\u00a0Each page\u00a0has\u00a0eight lines\u00a0and a duration of\u00a0eight minutes,\u00a0one minute\u00a0per line and\u00a0each line\u00a0is divided into five units of\u00a0twelve seconds each,\u00a0which can\u00a0be either\u00a0action or\u00a0silence.\u00a0As stated in the general instruction to\u00a0the work: “two questions constitutes\u00a0zwei ausf\u00fchrende(r)<\/em>: action or silence; who performs the action”<\/p>\n

That question is\u00a0filtered (or\u00a0agencied)\u00a0by circumstances and\u00a0the contingency of the performers who decides to\u00a0make a (some) page(s).\u00a0In the months from May\u00a0to October 2011\u00a0the premise of\u00a0conducting a weekly\u00a0realization was not maintained,\u00a0but each page\u00a0is a translation\u00a0on\u00a0the diagram\u00a0annotated as\u00a0score and an evidence for the contingency that produced it.<\/p>\n
